2024 Medical Captive Forum | May 1ST & 2ND | New Orleans, LA

Quality, Affordable Healthcare Made Simple

Why Attend MCF 2024?

In 2013, Roundstone’s Medical Captive Forum (MCF) was created to bring employers and benefits advisors together to discover new ways to reduce the cost of healthcare benefits and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. And we are going stronger than ever!

Educational at its heart, the MCF explores ideas around self-funding in a group captive, health plan design best practices, cost containment strategies, wellness trends, plan utilization techniques, and so much more.

We are thrilled to be hosting this year’s event in New Orleans at the JW Marriott. This is a city that is close to our hearts. There is a word used in the South, particularly in New Orleans, that reflects a spirit of generosity and hospitality in the culture of the region. That word is “lagniappe” (pronounced lan-yap). We plan to bring the lagniappe, y’all and treat you to something a little extra special.

Who Should Attend?

This event is geared for anyone responsible for or interested in delivering better health benefits for their organization. We welcome HR and finance professionals, CEOs and business owners. We also welcome benefits advisors and solution providers that are aligned with our mission of affordable, high-quality healthcare for small and midsize employers.

In the Big Easy, we will simplify and demystify self-funding and help our audience to navigate their journey, whether they are just learning or are actively self-funding as part of our group captive.

Laissez les Bons Temps Rouler

In New Orleans, especially during festive occasions like Jazz Fest, you often hear “Laissez les bons temps rouler.” This local Creole French phrase meaning “let the good times roll” captures the city’s spirit of joy and celebration.

MCF embraces this spirit. Perfectly positioned in the week between the renowned New Orleans Jazz Fest weekends, the city will be alive with music and positive vibes. If you haven’t been, you need to go, and if you have, you already know. We’re even considering changing the name to Medical Captive Fest instead of Forum. We‘ll riff on a wonderful mix of ideas, meet great people, eat great food, and share a rewarding and unforgettable experience together.

The uniqueness and diversity of many neighborhoods -- much like CLE -- are what make N’awlins one of my favorite places.
